WELCOME TO ANOTHER DAY OF MY BLOG.....I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS FOR YOU

Welcome to another day of random thoughts. Today I met a Mexican who did not like the Lakers! Personally I’m not a Lakers fan, but a Mexican living in Southern California that does not like the Lakers……that is rare! Actually two days from now I’ll be at the staples center when my Orlando Magic beat the Lakers for the second time this season. So this “Wake up Mr. Bess” thing is taking over my body like a virus, but in a good way. I have decided that I will be sticking with this, and I have been inspired to do big things with it! I’ll keep all everyone updated as plans unfold. First step will be the logo’s which I’ll let the readers decide on.

So I’m listening to this Colin Munroe Mixtape, and I’m really feeling this. He is dope white boy who brings a new vibe over these hip hop beats for real. I really didn’t know what to call today’s blog, but I do have a few questions for ya’ll………………………………..

1. Have you ever had to heat up parts of the home with just the oven?

2. Have you ever had to use Vaseline as your Lip Balm, Lotion, Shoe Polish, and hair grease?

3. Have you ever used a brown paper bag to soak up the grease from foods such as bacon or fried taco shells?

4. Has there ever been a time when you had no soap or body wash, and decided to use shampoo to clean your whole body?

5. How many people became happy when they were introduce to a lint roller, because you were tired of using scotch tape to get lint off your clothing?

Well all those questions relate to me because I have experienced everything in those questions……LoL!!!! Maybe next blog I’ll throw some random questions in there as well. Wake Up Mr. BESS

Welcome to another day of my random thoughts! Well today I had no random thoughts, so I figured I would just talk about myself today. I hate listening to mainstream music while at home or in my car, but today I was just in the mood for it. Come to Find to out I like that Soulja Boy song “Turn on my swag.” People maybe be like why Soulja Boy?!?!?!?!? I like the song! It’s my new alarm clock ringtone! The chorus is my favorite:

So people say I’m a pretty nice person. I look like a beast, but most girls are still comfortable with me. Even girls that are in relationships or are trying to fix their relationships tend to be comfortable with me as well…lol!!! Not my fault at all!!! The most gangsta attire that I own now is a pair of Nike dunks, Levi jeans, button up shirt, a tie, and cardigan sweater. Roselyn Shanchez is super Sexy!!!! I like to get my haircut once a week, because I can. Giving has become a major part of life. It is a great achievement to make another persons day. It is sad that other people become jealous when you are making someone else’s day but it happens multiple times. I really like Rosario Dawson to because she is like Nerdy and Sexy! I believe that David Sunflower Seeds are on of the greatest creations known to man kind. I love collard greens with some hot sauce, but beware of my gas afterwards. Original Skittles and the Original Starburst are the best. I never have been one to yell or argue. It’s a waste of breath when it comes to every life. Sunkist Orange Soda is amazing! Cherry Limeade juice is good to! I’m a fan of America’s favorite football team…….The Dallas Cowboys. The Orlando Magic is my favorite basketball team. Anaheim Angels is my favorite baseball team. There are so many sexy women!!!! My Mama has always told I me I will be successful! Mama knows best people say. I definitely accept it! I would like to pursue a career in journalism and become the owner of my own lounge called “The CooL!” Fried chicken, homemade Macaroni cheese, collard greens, jiffy cornbread, yams, and some hot sauce is a great meal. I don’t mind taking your lady out…….Just playing…….maybe I’m not….lol…..really I’m just pulling your leg. That would be terrible. I hope to get buff by only using the perfect push up. I like board games like scrabble, taboo, scattergories, boulder dash, and other games of that nature. I don’t I’m that different from everyone. We all put are pants on one leg at a time right? Sports Center, Family Guy, MTV jams, America’s next best dance crew, how it’s made, Chappelle show, TVone, Food network, travel channel, G4 tv, are just a few channels and shows that I like to watch. Why is BET not on your list Mr. Bess? BET fell off for real! I think I’m done hurting your eyes with this nonsense today!!! I’m just typing jibberish now! Have a wonderful Night!!!

Store Chains in Danger of Closing

Wake Up Mr. Bess?!?!?!?!?

I wish I could have today, but today had to be one of the slowest days at work in a while. Gas prices are beginning to rise again, people are not going out as much, people are trying to hold on to their money, and many stores are in jeopardy of closing. Many major chains have already begin to make cut backs by shutting down low performing stores, and laying off many workers due the fact that the economy is on a decline right now. Snopes.com has gathering information from various news accounts on chains that are planning, or have made the following cut backs:

-The Circuit City Chain of retail electronic stores filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2008 and is closing 155 stores across the U.S.

-The Dillards department store chain announced the closure of 21 outlets in 2008, and said it expects more store closure in 2009

-The Foot Locker chain of shoe stores chain closed 274 outlets in 2007 and another 60 in 2008, with more such closures likely.

-The Macy’s Chain of department stores (which includes Bloomingdale’s) closed 11 outlets in 2008.

-Sprint announced in January 2008 that it would be closing 125 out of its 1,400 retail outlets.

That wasn’t even the whole list of chains provided in the article. I just chose 5 out of 28 of them, just to give you an idea of how things are looking right now. I know it will take some time but I hope that change will come soon!

The Phone Works Both Ways!!!

Welcome to another day in the life and times of Mr. Bess. Hope everyone is having a great day so far, and if your day hasn’t started……Hope you day turns out great when your day begins. I have to be to work in a couple hours, but I’m still down to give ya’ll a little blog!

So the other day I ran into someone at a particular location and they said,

“Long time no see.”
“How have you been?”
“Why don’t you ever call or text me anymore?”

The first two questions are fine, but the last question……the last question was ridiculous in this situation. Now I do try my best call and text people just to say hi, and to see how they are doing. This day I was like WTF!!!! I try to contact you all the time and you just never reply. Why must I contact you all the time just to see how you are doing. Why don’t you try contacting me to see how I am doing…..Naw’sayin!!! The phone works both ways!!!

Now I must attempt to get dressed super fast like super man, so I’m not late for work……Ahhhh!!!!

McNugget Love

So I spent like 4 hours today in Barnes and picked up 2 books. For one more day and The five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom. He is a great author. Tuesdays with Morrie is another great book by him that I have read. If you have a chance, you should check out his books. So there are some pretty funny commercials out there and this is one of my favorites commercial. McNugget Love is the title of the song. It is comedy to me! One line say’s “Oh girl I know your secret (You Dipin on me?)!” And my other favorite line is, “You got a 10 piece girl don’t be stingy.” After watching this I really wanted some chicken nuggets though!

Guilty Pleasure

What’s up World!!! Welcome to another day of the Wake up Mr. Bess Blog. I just got back from L.A. a few hours ago, and I would like to say that I love the city! You’ll never see the same thing every day. As I walk the streets, new doors open up in my mind all the time as I think about random things. Give me a bus pass, studio apartment, a bed, and pair shoes, and I’ll be good in the city! So I ate some chicken wings today, and I’m still thinking about those wings. I devoured those wings once they were put in front of me….LoL! “Don’t be fake Nigga, get the chicken!” Hahahaha….All my Chappelle show fans should know about that line from the pixie skit…..hahaaha!

Guilty Pleasure…..Hmmmmmmm! Where is Mr. Bess taking this one?!?!?!?!?! Straight to the bedroom with this one baby! So I’m not saying this has ever happened to me, but have you ever messed around with a human being (Someone of the opposite sex) one night, then the next day you see them with their significant other? Maybe you’re the person walking with your significant other and you see that person you just spent the night with. What goes through your mind other than, “Oh $%!*!” Everyone knows it is wrong deep down inside, but the heat of the moment seems to have caught up! Is one person not enough? Is love not in the picture? Is there a devil and angel battling on the shoulders? Is the combination of Lust and Temptation that powerful? Maybe the adrenaline rush and feeling is greater when you know it’s wrong. I just think the masses love to do it, that’s why the divorce rate in America is really high. If that is the case we should all look into Polygamy so we all can have many significant others…..HAHAHA!!! Something I would never consider but you might!

HappY BeLated NEw Years!!!!!

5………4……..3……..2…….1…………….HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!

I was feeling super great at that moment!!!! I was kicking it in the sky with Centaurus (A constellation), while drinking some Ethiopian Wine. If you haven’t had Ethiopian Wine you are missing out. It is like a 4th of July firecracker in your Mouth! My first meal of 2009 was tacos from Rubio’s! 2009 came upon us very quick. 2008 Started off somewhat rough but ended perfect!! Met a lot of new people, kicked a few lames to the side, put myself on the track, and I’m on my way to great things!!!! I plan on being successful before the age of 25. I have this “Go, Go, Get it mentality,” now, so basically there is no stopping me from achieving what I want.

This year I would like to: Take my creativity beyond sky scrapper level. Like, I want my mind to be kicking it somewhere in the solar system. I would like to become muscular like the incredible hulk. Networking is going to be one of the biggest keys this year. I would like to donate and help out a lot of people this year. I want to go on my first cruise this year… (I wonder what girl will going with me that I promised in 2008….hahaha!). There is to much want to do, but I won’t put you to sleep with my ambitions. I can promise my readers that I’m Finna go BLOG CRAZY!!!! THE Poetry page is going too updated more often as well!!!
